Munster

Munster

Took Munster on a field trip today and this guy has ENERGY. At first he was bouncy, enthusiastic, and mouthy. But then I handed him a ball and he became a completely different dog. Calm and happy as could be, no jumping, no mouthing!

Munster with his ball

Caveat: if he drops that ball and it rolls, he gains super strength and will drag you down trying to get it again. Fair warning!

He pulls forward on the leash but not toward anything specific. Happy reactions to other dogs and people. He loved running with me, I could only do short sprints but he was delighted every time.

He seemed more toy motivated than treat motivated, but still loved the snacks. Rope toy was his favorite for chilling, but he didn't want it on walks. The ball was best for that. Pig ear was also a huge hit.

Munster relaxing

He was great with people and loved the attention. A kid ran up and started petting him, and Munster barely noticed because he had his rope in his mouth. Behaved well. Curious about dogs, but easily redirectable, and comfortable being handled to help get in the car.

His ideal home: a yard, a fetch loving owner, and someone who understands he needs a job for all that energy.
